Sicilian photographer Pietro Sutera and myself, will be guiding a small group of photographers in spring next year to Sicily. This will be the first of a series of Sicilian workshops led by us. People, Landscapes Culture and Nature. This will be a experience of a very, very special kind. Only photographers who also enjoy he finest Italian cousine, will fully enjoy this very exclusive photographic experience.The Workshop will be organized in such a way that photographers can be accompanied by their partners/spouses who will enjoy a “parallel” relaxing holiday, in case they decide not to take part to the activities of the workshop.
Agriturism in Sicily
In Sicily we will discover together forgotten villages with only few inhabitants left and photograph the Sicilian lifestyle and tradition which make Sicilians so interesting subjects. We will scope for stories and everyone will develop his own reportage. There will be discussions on the power of images, storytelling and how to photograph people. People Photography is our strength, and we will be happy to share our professional knowledge with you.
Agristurismo in Sicilia
There will also be exciting activities such as climbing the Mount Etna, in order to photograph the ever active vulcano. We will be so close to the lava, you would not imagine. As a base for our discussions and short lectures we will use a very renowned “Agriturismo” immerged in nature and far away from smog and noise.
